During the summer, one of my classes with OutSchool.com was an ongoing drawing class. It teaches the technique of sketching realistic African safari animal, such as portraits of a lion, zebra, elephant, rhino, cheetah, giraffe and more.

My teacher Ms. Torri McCarrey is so much fun to draw with. Our classroom is a calm, fun, and creative environment. Me and the other students get a chance to chat with our teacher while drawing and learning how to create shapes with different pencils. Ms. McCarrey tells us some facts about the animal while teaching us how to draw.

Being in Ms. McCarrey's class is so cool! And doing this has improved my skills of sketching to a whole new level! My family is so proud of me and I am too!!!

LOVE everything about this - the sketches, the captions...ALL OF IT. Here's another proverb that comes to mind: "Until the lion tells its side of the story, the tale of the hunt will always glorify the hunter."
